Attractions in Zielona Gora

When the wine production was reduced in Zielona Gora, the people decided to use the amusements of the grape gathering to attract tourists. The Wine Festival and the United Europe Song Festivals are two such cultural events you may wish to attend if you are paying a visit to Zielona Gora.

You will also find many Historical buildings of importance in Zeilona Gora. There is the late Gothic Parish church, a Protestant church The Hunger Tower and the Town Hall. Most of the buildings in Zielona Gora were built in the early 20th century.

The sight you must visit is the Palm House Cafe on the hilltop surrounded by a vineyard. This is the only remaining reminder of the many vineyards that once existed in the area and is therefore well worth a visit. From the hill, you also get a beautiful view of the city.
