Restaurants in Warsaw

Befitting a capital city, Warsaw boasts fine restaurants and a variety of cuisines. Restaurants offer French, German and Eastern Eurpean wines. Quailty foreign liquor, although available is highly taxed and therefore astronomically priced. Although upscale city restaurants offer lunch at noon, Poles traditonally eat their main mid-day meal between 3 and 5 pm, in the afternoon. While several restaurants follow the maxim of stay open till the last customer leaves, it may be difficult to find something open after 9 at night. Some popular restaurants are:
